Kim started dancing competitively at the age of 9, beginning in hip-hop and then trying my hand at jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical/contemporary, and acro. Tap is by far her favourite style (and her mom’s least favourite) but ballet is a close second.
She grew up dancing at a small-town studio so it was a big deal when she got invited to dance at the Dance the World Showcase and Parade in Disney World back in 2013 which is her absolute favourite dance memory.

After nearly 10 years, she took a break from dance after graduating high school to focus on getting her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Working at Elite was the perfect way to combine two loves of her life: dance and working with children.
