Montse embarked on her dancing journey in 1999 by pursuing the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) grades at Zayi. During her professional career, she was privileged to receive training from two of the best RAD-nominated teachers hailing from Brazil and Mexico. Montse continued to advance her skills and completed her professional RAD grades (Advanced 2). She had the opportunity to perform as a soloist and in ensemble roles, including Pas de deux, pas de trois, and corps, in beloved ballet productions like Nutcracker, Swan Lake, and Esmeralda. Her performances were staged at various national and international theatres across Mexico, England, and the United States.

Montse’s love for dance prompted her to pursue teaching alongside her professional dancing career. She commenced her teaching journey as a principal instructor for children and eventually, after seven years of teaching, was appointed as the general director of Ballet at Atlas Colomos in Mexico. Over the years, Montse has attended several courses to augment her skills and knowledge in the art of ballet and teaching, including cross-training, barre, belly dance, jazz, and choreography techniques. Outside of dance, she is a full-time PhD Nutrition student that enjoys spending time with her family and her dog Taco.
